Scorn for the upstart,
who offers bold, seemingly unrealistic solutions,
to problems that have stumped others,
who may have the natural ‘advantages’ of age and experience.

Who are unaware of his life in the back country,
who did not see, his big acts on the small stage,
slaying bears, drubbing lions.

Thus detached,
from the basis of his confidence,
in his own ability, and in the reputation of the Lord of hosts,
they only see misplaced ambition, even mischief.
