Of the many dreams the Christian dreams,
some remembered, others not.
Some in fragments, others whole.
Some make sense, others nonsense.

What should the faithful do?
Who know from scripture, if not from experience,
their sovereign does speak,
in dreams, visions of the night.
Who understand that still senses,
can make for receptive spirits.

So what means anything? and what means nothing?

Maybe dreams are only dreams,
until they are not.
Maybe only by repetition, or other emphasis,
or by intersection with the lived experience,
of the faithful dreamer,
are they ever meaningful,
and only then are they ever
whispers of the Divine.
